Stay Healthy Turkey Burger Recipe
Eating healthy doesn’t have to be a chore. There are plenty of healthy foods that are both delicious and nutritious, and aren’t overwhelming to prepare. Here’s a healthy yet tasty turkey burger you can make.
Prepare the pan with Olive Oil and set to medium high.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound ground lean turkey meat
- Yoshida gourmet sauce
- Grill Mates hamburger seasoning
- Crushed red pepper
- 100% whole wheat sandwich thins
Fresh Toppings
- Avacado
- Baby spinach
- Sliced jalapenos
- Sliced tomato
- Sliced red onion
- Sweet mustard
Place the ground turkey in a bowl and add 2-3 tablespoons of Yoshida sauce and 1 – 2 tablespoons of seasoning. Mix well using your hands. Form the meat into 2 patties and place on the hot pan. Turn them after they brown and continue to cook. Cooking time will be about 8 – 10 minutes.
Put two sandwich thins in a toaster to warm them. Once they’re done, spread the mustard on both sides. Top each one with a turkey patty, then add your toppings in layers.
A delicious yet healthy burger is the result. It can be slightly messy, so make sure you have a fork handy!
