Cholesterol Experiment Day 19
Doh! I forgot to take my supplements this morning! Man, that irritates me….
I was too lazy to make my CBO the night before, so took nothing to work to eat. So what, prey tell, did you eat?
Junk.
Trailmix, and too much of it. There’s a snack bar at work with snack pack sizes of Kar’s Sweet n’ Nutty trail mix. I ate 1 when I got to work, 1 about an hour before going to the gym, a protein smoothie after my workout, then another trail mix in the afternoon.
And man was I hungry.
Right as I pull into the driveway, my cell phone rings. My daughter needs some poster board for a school project. So she comes out and we make a Target run (only 2 miles away) to get her poster board. There’s also a McDonald’s there. No dinner planned becasue of a homeowner’s meeting, so we swing through and I’m so hungry I get myself a cheeseburger.
The cheeseburger broke the dam, and I ate a donut when we got home, one of those really soft, delicious glazed ones. Yum. So diet wise, today was a huge backslide.
I could practically feel my cholesterol going up.

I actually worked the heavy bag for about 5 minutes. Reminded me of how out of shape I really am. Run 2 miles? No problem. Work the heavy bag for 5 minutes and almost pass out.
Evening Supplements (yes I remembered to take them):
- 500mg Slo-Niacin
- 2,500mg Vitamin C
- 23mg Policosanol
- 200mcg Chromium Polynicotinate
